For us, wine is a family matter.
We are now in the fourth generation of farming our sun-kissed vineyards, characterized by the slate soil of the central Moselle valley.
As we love wine, we are open to try new tastes. Before bottling our wine, it must satisfy us. In other words: only the wine that we think is tasteful will be bottled.
Our product range includes fruity, as well as elegant Rieslings from one of the best locations in the world. We also offer light Pinot Blanc and red wine.
Our bottled wines are delivered to many regular customers throughout Germany and neighboring countries. The personal contact and the comprehensive advice are extremely important to us, whether it is at our winery or at the customer’s site.

From tradition to trend.
As a down-to-earth winemaker, we do not follow every short-lived trend but we do pay attention to how our customer’s tastes develop over the years. This has a direct impact on the wine we produce.
Our aim is to cultivate classical grape varieties in order to create outstanding wine.
We produce our wine with passion and along with a good sense of contemporary tastes.
Warm slate soil leads to excellent quality.
Our 14 hectares of vines are spread over three prime locations in Brauneberg: Klostergarten, Mandelgraben and Juffer - one of the prime Riesling locations in the world. The warm slate soil in the steep vineyards, as well as in the valley vineyards, contribute to the unique taste and outstanding quality of our Moselle wines.
Our grape variety ranges from the world-famous Moselriesling to other white grape varieties, such as Chardonnay and Rivaner, as well as red wine varieties and Burgundy wines.
Special attention should to be drawn to the extremely rare Goldriesling. This wine persuades with its intense nutmeg taste.
Our wine tasting will whet your appetite.
The winery is located at the outskirts of the village Brauneberg. We offer regular wine tastings on our terrace, in the wine-tasting room and in the wine cellar. If the owner starts talking with humor and experience be prepared for a relaxed and cheerful wine tasting!
We recommend combining your wine tasting with a short break – there is a small bed and breakfast affiliated with our winery that offers cozy rooms to make your trip to the Moselle area an unforgettable experience.
